We have a photographer in store that can take your picture for local or federal documents such as passports, firearm licenses and more. We use recognized standards for size, lighting and print paper so that your photos meet the standards of the document you are applying for.
Large format printing
Large format prints up to 44" wide
We can enlarge your images to the size of Hollywood movie posters. You can use these posters in a home or business setting. Decorate your home with beautiful large size portraits or use the posters at tradeshows or in presentations. We can meet your needs in large format printing.

We will correct the exposure, the color, sharpness or add a friend or family member that was absent. We can even remove that ever present stranger in the background making a face at the camera.
Photo restoration
Pictures are easily damaged and tend to fade with the passing of time. Our digital experts can help restore their original beauty. We can repair water damage from flooding, minor singing from fire and fading from sunlight exposure. We work on a copy of the original so there is no risk to your photographs.
Image scanning (flatbed and negative scanner)
Our flatbed scanners can be used to digitize any flat image. We can help you preserve your photographs, your child's drawings, your diplomas, contracts or anything else you can think of. If it's flat, bring it in and we'll scan it for you.

Reprint from prints No negative, no problem! Bring in your photographs and we can make copies of them without having the negative. This isn't a copy service! The reprints will be on high quality photo paper and have the same color quality as the originals.

Archiving files to CD or DVD
Worries about losing your digital files? We can help you stop worrying by copying your digital files to CD or DVD. We can even digitize your photographs or negatives and save those to CD or DVD. Home movies from various types of cameras can also be transferred to CD or DVD to be played back on computers or DVD players.
Duplication from CD/DVD to CD/DVD
Need an extra copy of a CD or DVD and don't own a CD/DVD burner? Bring in your disc(s) and we will make copies for your records or for handing out. We can duplicate 1 or 100 discs, as many as you need.
Video duplication and transcription (NTSC, PAL and SECAM)
Want to share your videos or transfer them to another format since you've upgraded all your equipment? We can transfer form Hi8, VHS, BETA, DVD and more to any format of your choice. We can also transfer NTSC and PAL formats if you are coming from, or moving abroad. Don't let your most precious memories get left behind!
Corrupt file recovery from memory cards
Memory cards are small and fragile devices, even normal usage will sometimes cause a defect. Don't fret! The information on the card is usually still present, simply unaccessible through your camera. Bring it in and we will rescue your precious memories. The card though, is toast.

I've got a Digital Camera NOW WHAT?
(Class 101)
This is an entry level class designed for people who have a digital camera or who are thinking about purchasing one. The class is limited to 10 students and pre-registration and advance payment is required. Many of the topics to be discussed are listed below. We do recommend that you bring your camera if you have one, but it is not required. As you think of any questions, please write them down and bring them to class. We find many students forget those important questions when they get to class. The evening class is held after regular store hours, so the doors will be open from 6:30 to 7:00pm and then locked. Please don’t be late to the evening class.

The class is held in Swanlund’s upstairs gallery and is 2 hours long. The class is not offered every month, so please check our website or call us to find out current available dates and times. There is a 5 to 10 minute break an hour into the class. Questions are always welcomed during class. At the end of class, there will be a question and answer period as well. The instructor will stay for about an hour after class to give personal attention to students who might have questions about their specific camera.
Sessions: One 2.0 hour with the Instructor staying up to 1 additional hour.

Digital SLRs offer you unmatched options for taking pictures. This class will teach you some of those options to help you get the results you want. It will familiarize you with setting up your camera, exposure modes, basic functions, scene modes and basic shooting. We will go over the basic menu modes and what they mean. This class will help you choose accessories that will help in your photography.

This class moves you beyond the basics to a more in depth discussions of camera operations and setup. While learning how to get the most out of your camera metering and exposure modes, you will also learn how to understand histograms, and custom white balance and maximizing the quality of your images with RAW files and converting RAW files. Students should have attended the beginning DSLR class or have equivalent knowledge.
Sessions: Two 2.5 hour classes
Cost: $59.95
Recommended for: students who have taken the Beginning DSLR class from Swanlund’s or have equivalent knowledge.

Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel your class, please contact Swanlund’s Camera immediately.
Cancellations two weeks prior to first class will receive a full refund. Cancellations less than two weeks prior receive full store credit for Swanlund's Camera and cancellations less than 72 hours prior receive 50% store credit. Refunds for classes missed are not available.
